It was awe inspiring, we stopped and filled water bottles to drink the beautiful clear spring water, as the sun was setting behind us. I liked the picture so much I had to paint it and just like Gods mercy, it is the best water I have ever had.

For me this painting is about living faith and Gods abundant provision. The faith shown by my daughter to not only collect the fresh water and drink it, but also how Gods love and provision can come in torrents, at great speed and overflow our cups. Water is an essential part of life and God is the living water within us.

Canvas size: 50 x 40cm (20" x 16")

Canvas depth: 2cm (0.79")

Medium used: Oil paint

Date of creation: 26th January 2026

Painting Surface: Linen treated canvas

Type of varnish: Gamblin Gamvar Satin varnish (13/09/26)

Ready to Hang

As framing is a personal choice, please note that all paintings are sold and shipped as unframed, as standard shipping practice for Painted canvases.

This painting features a 2cm gallery-wrap profile and arrives ready to hang, unframed with D-rings and high-quality picture wire on the back of the wooden stretcher bars.
